Team Vetscape Takes On World’s Toughest Mudder
Alright folks, let’s put aside all of this election turmoil for a little bit and focus on other important things – like the World’s Toughest Mudder!
Over the past few months I have been helping an amazing group of combat veterans from Team Vetscape to prepare for the World’s Toughest Mudder, 2016.
What is the World’s Toughest Mudder?
The World’s Toughest Mudder is an epic and grueling 24-hour obstacle course challenge that involves completing as many 5-mile laps as possible over the period of 24 hours.
For a glimpse into the insanity that is the World’s Toughest Mudder, check out this documentary video from 2015:
The World’s Toughest Mudder takes place this Saturday and Sunday – November 12-13, 2016 at Lake Las Vegas.
This year, Team Vetscape is being represented by four combat veterans: “Farmer” Fred Lewis, Mike “Bear” Sarkies, Ryan “Merman” Lundbohm and Amanda “Hammer” Mathew Lundbohm. To learn more about their individual awesomeness, check out their bios here:
Racing to help veterans
These kick-ass veterans are looking to crush 100+ miles and are hungry for the win. If they reach the podium, all prize money will be donated to Team Vetscape to help raise awareness for veteran suicide and Return To Base, a one of a kind veteran healing center in Hawaii. If you are not already familiar with Team Vetscape, you must check them out. Learn how they are helping veterans find their next mission in life by checking out Team Vetscape’s website:
Proud of these warriors
Words cannot describe how great it has been to work with Fred, Mike, Ryan and Amanda and I cannot wait to see them crush the course. They have tallied many hours preparing and training for game day… and as a coach, this dedication and effort makes me feel so proud of what they have accomplished and what they are about to achieve!
Watch the action
Working as a team, there is nothing veterans can’t achieve. Watch Team Netscape demonstrate this on November 12-13 2016.
