Are you registered to vote?
The United States has one of the lowest voter participation rates in the developed world, as low as 36 percent in the last midterm elections (2014).
During the 2014 midterms, nearly 60% of voting-eligible Americans did not vote. One of the most common reasons people give for not voting is they are too busy with the demands of work and life obligations. Millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote each year because they miss the registration deadline, don’t update their registration or they’re not sure how to register.
This article shows you how to check your voter registration, register to vote and get an absentee ballot.
